Cancellation & Refund Policy

Payment

Payment is required when the appointment is scheduled. Refunds are reduced by the actual nonrefundable payment-processing fee charged for the original transaction.

Cancellations before the initial evaluation

• At least 48 hours’ notice: Refund of the amount paid, less the actual nonrefundable payment-processing fee.
• Less than 48 hours’ notice: One complimentary reschedule. A client who cancels rather than reschedules will be charged a $75 late-cancellation fee, with the remaining eligible balance refunded less the nonrefundable processing fee.
• Missed appointment without notice: A $125 no-show fee will be retained. The remaining balance may be applied to one rescheduled appointment or refunded on request, less the nonrefundable processing fee.
• Second late cancellation or no-show: New payment may be required before another appointment is reserved.

Once professional work begins

Once the initial evaluation has begun—or work has been performed reviewing documentation, developing recommendations, preparing reports, or completing required entries—the $250 initial-evaluation portion is earned and nonrefundable. The remaining $200 is reserved for the follow-up evaluation.

Recommendations and follow-up

Failure to complete recommended education or treatment does not qualify the client for a refund of services already provided. The follow-up portion remains attached to the case under the terms communicated by the practice.

No guaranteed outcome

Payment does not guarantee a particular recommendation, successful-compliance determination, return-to-duty eligibility, employment, reinstatement, or return to safety-sensitive duties.

If the practice cancels

If King’s Crossing Diversion Services cancels an appointment, the client may reschedule without charge or receive a refund for any services not yet provided.
